Sister Leah belongs to a worldwide congregation of apostolic sisters. She lives in a small community house in town and works as a parish sister.

The parish and schools are at the heart of our community. Working as part of a busy parish team brings me into contact with people from all walks of life. I feel very lucky to have so many opportunities to be a witness to the Gospel.

Personal prayer is vital to my deepening relationship with the Lord. This is something to be shared and once a month, young people from the parish join us for a prayer and scripture study evening.

The Sisters live in smaller houses rather than traditional convents, but living together as a vowed community, having common prayer, sharing meals and recreation time remains central to our way of life.
